Jeff grew up in Fort Collins, graduated from Fort Collins High School, and married Darla, his high school sweetheart (and the girl of his dreams). They spent their first two years together eating macaroni and cheese for every meal while living in Dallas, TX where Jeff studied General Biblical Studies at Christ For The Nations Bible College (this was also the time period when Jeff met Johnny Cash!). Shortly thereafter, they moved back to Northern Colorado where Jeff served in various full-time ministry roles at Faith Ministries Christian Fellowship (Administrative Pastor and Youth Pastor among many other things). Jeff also served on a pastoral team in Southern California for two years.
After moving back to their home state of Colorado in 2000, Jeff and Darla started a software development company, Rocket Jones, which they have had the privilege of running for the past 16+ years. Jeff and Darla have a big ol’ pile of beautiful children. Zac, Kate, Kylee, and Emilee are exploring adulthood while living on their own and Joshua, a sophomore at Front Range Community College, is living at home. As a couple, Jeff and Darla enjoy, travel, cycling, hiking, buffalo wings, snowshoeing, paddle boarding, and camping. Young at heart, Jeff enjoys tacos, people (most of them), reading, philosophy, leadership, adventure cycling, and Darla’s famous salsa and pork green chili (and everything else she cooks).
